FUJI, STAYMAN/WINESAP/GRANNY SMITH are now picking.

We anticipate Apple Picking to wrap up this weekend

Saturday 10/6 or Sunday 10/7.

Jewish Apple Cake Recipe

3 cups flour

2 cups sugar

3 TBS cinnamon

1 TBS baking powder

1/8 tsp salt

1 cup oil

1/2 cup orange juice

4 eggs

2 1/2 tsp vanilla

5 cups Johnson’s Apples:)

Mix all dry ingredients, then add oil, orange juice & vanilla, mix well. Add eggs, using a blender, mix for 2 minutes or until smooth. Spray bundt pan w/no stick spray. Put 3 scoops of batter into the bottom of pan & spread evenly. Place 2 1/2 cups of Apples on top of batter, sprinkle heavily w/cinnamon & sugar. Repeat batter layer, then apple layer. Sprinkle lightly w/cinnamon & sugar. Bake @ 350 for 30 mins then place aluminum foil on top and bake one hour more. Enjoy!!!
