Fun and Learning Together at the Farm
At Johnson’s, our tours encompass more than just a trip to the farm. We have created a variety of fun-packed, educational experiences awaiting your group’s arrival. We have designed our tours for groups of all sizes. Our tours are designed to accommodate a group minimum of 15 up to more than 300! Many different tour packages are available. All trips include a hayride to pick the seasonal crop, a visit to our newly renovated Animal Farm and use of our picnic area. The seasonal crop is dependent upon the time of year your tour is scheduled. From apple picking to sweet-potato digging, we are your farm destination! We incorporate educational information throughout the tours and we encourage the children to experience farming hands-on. By hands-on, we mean the children participate and experience farming with all of their senses.
They see how fruits and vegetables are grown. The children touch and feel the leaves, trees, plants as they harvest the produce. The smells and sounds of the seasons are in the air for all can enjoy while taking a gentle hayride across the farm. Our newly renovated Animal Farm is teeming with farm animals. We have provided double fencing and feeding tubes to ensure that your groups enjoy a fun, safe time with our farm animals. We have also installed farm-friendly play equipment for all to enjoy. Stay a while and take a stroll on our Wacky Bridge. Find your way through our rope maze or just take a sail through our pipe slide. Upon leaving the Animal Farm area, sinks with running water and soap are available for your use. A quick call or email to Diane can answer any of your questions and schedule your tour.
