CHERRIES are RIPE & READY Cherry Picking has begun!! Our Cherry Orchards are bursting with sweet delicious CHERRIES! So easy to pick……so delicious to eat!! But don’t STOP there…… Grab a friend or two and stroll through our STRAWBERRY FIELDS to “pick your own” yummy STRAWBERRIES Freezing our STRAWBERRIES is a quick and easy process. Just rinse berries, cut stems off. Place them on a cookie sheet and put them in the freezer for about 2-3 hrs. Remove and place in freezer bags and return to freezer. Now you can enjoy JOHNSON’S STRAWBERRIES all year!! SUGAR SNAP PEAS are picking too!!! They are absolutely delicious fresh off the plant!! Toss them in a salad, serve with your favorite dip, steam them, saute them…..the possibilities are endless:) STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL WEEKEND Saturday evening from 4-8 PM June 8th Chef Scott on the Grill… Pulled Pork, Smoked Chicken Legs, Burgers, & Dogs on the grill!! Freezing JOHNSON”S SUGAR SNAP PEAS!!! Quick and Easy… Rinse PEAS and SNAP stems off. Place in boiling water and “blanche” for 2 minutes. Remove PEAS and place them in a bowl of ice water.
