Strawberry, Sugar Snap Pea & Cherry Season kicks off the first major harvest of the year. We grow acres of
beautifully groomed berry fields and orchards full of ripe fruit yearning to be picked. Warm
breezes are sure to carry the irresistible smell of sweet New Jersey strawberries, cherries,
and sugar snap peas. During this season, hayrides will leave continuously from 10 to 4 everyday
to our fields. Weekends include Festivals with Music, Moon Bounce, and hotdogs and burgers on
the Grill.
Cost: $3.50 per hayride, Strawberries and Peas are $2.25 per lb Pick over 10 lbs price is reduced by 10%, Cherries are $4.95 per lb.
DON'T FORGET!!! The Discovery Barnyard/Animal Farm we will be offered to all paid hayriders at 1/2 price. (children $3.50, adults $1.75)
Blueberry Season begins as the strawberry and cherry season is ending. Blueberry picking
season lasts through mid August.
Cost: $3.50 per hayride, Blueberries are $2.25 per lb.The Discovery Barnyard/Animal Farm we will be offered to all paid hayriders at 1/2 price. (children $3.50, adults $1.75)
SPRING 2012
Hop into our Spring Season with an EGGHUNT Hayride! Our Egghunt Hayrides are a non-competitive fun experience for all. The hayride drops everyone off at a field for the thrill of playing hopping games and hunting for five colorful eggs each. Upon return from the field, your little ones will be greeted by the Easter bunny and be given the opportunity to meet with the bunny, take pictures, and receive a candy bag after all of the hard work they have done.
Cost: $7.95 per egg hunter, $3.50 per non-egg hunting rider.As an added value for our egg hunt customers; The Discovery Barnyard/Animal Farm we will be offered to all egg hunters at 1/2 price. (children $3.50, adults $1.75)*** NOTE*** Children under 12 months are not charged for the hayride. However they will charged full price if they participate in the egghunt.
Stay for our New Easter Cookie Decorating activity.(Cost $7.00 child) We will supply all the fixens' to decorate 2 large Easter cookies. These will make a tasty treat or a great gift for Grand Mom. This fun filled activity will be available 7 days a week from 10 to 4.
The Spring Season continues with our MOM'S and TOT´S Hayride. This farm experience is designed to invigorate your senses with the beauty of our fields in the springtime. Hayrides will tour the farm to view the farm activities, budding trees, and sprouting plants. Picking of spinach and radishes will be available depending on supply and spring weather.
Hayriders can also choose to include the garden planting lesson in their day at the farm. . Our Farmers will instruct each child on how to plant and grow 4 different crops.We will provide a corn, string bean, pumpkin and sunflower seed soil and a container to grow them in. This activity is great fun and educational too.
